前總統李登輝今天舉行新書發表會，應邀出席的民進黨前主席蔡英文表示，李登輝曾叫她要謙卑，她也反躬自省，「最近講了一句話比較不謙卑」，長者的告誡與提醒，是人生最大的幸福。

蔡辦幕僚私下透露，蔡英文說的「比較不謙卑」的那句話，應是指她日前在接受商業周刊專訪時，所講的「（馬英九）連菁英那塊都不如我」那段言論。
