曼尼：台灣球場設備差 但我感謝所有人

在加盟德州遊騎兵三A快車隊的記者會上，曼尼Manny Ramirez表示，雖然來到台灣短短的時間，但所有人的熱情令他印象深刻。

「我可以告訴大家，去台灣打球是很好的經驗，一旦去到海外，所有的事情都會改變，但我很感謝台灣那些人對待我的方式，真的非常棒，對這一點我真的不能說什麼。」

「當你去過台灣，然後再回到三A，這裡就跟大聯盟沒兩樣，在台灣的球場，沒有空調，也沒有東西吃，不過在那裡我還是很快樂。」

曼尼也提到，他真的非常非常想回去大聯盟，但是不通過這些試鍊，好事是不會來到，「我所學習到的，就是當你身處暴風雨中，那是很好的，因為那會幫助您成長，並且決定下一步該怎麼走。」

「我在暴風雨中，學習到如何傾聽並向上帝禱告，我不聽外面的人說些什麼，這對我幫助很大。」

雖然已經年紀不小，不過曼尼表示，他的打擊觀念並沒有做太大的調整，「我還是試著做我自己，沒有做任何改變，有時候我看Raul Ibanez 跟Jason Giambi，他們到現在還打得很好，我會把這個放在心上，告訴自己，只要做跟以前一樣的事，我相信我也能做得到。」
