萬那杜收回承認阿布哈茲共和國

法新社報導，太平洋島國萬那杜20日收回對阿布哈茲共和國的承認。阿布哈茲是從喬治亞共和國獨立出來的國家，上述訊息先由喬治亞總統薩卡什維利宣布，稍後萬那杜總理在一段與薩卡什維利聯合發表的錄影聲明中證實。阿布哈茲共和國在1990年代與喬治亞作戰後獨立，但在2011年萬那杜承認該國之前，僅受到俄羅斯、委內瑞拉、尼加拉瓜、土瓦魯等少數國家承認。
