南投中興新村出現死鼬貛

【高堂堯／南投報導】南投草屯和中興新村交界產業道路旁，昨晚9點出現一隻路倒死亡鼬獾，引起民眾恐慌議論；草屯消防分隊接獲通報後派員前往，發現鼬獾口中滲血，初判已死亡多時，先裝袋留置，今早轉報南投縣家畜疾病防治所前往取回接手處理。

南投家畜所指出，這隻鼬獾身體已腐爛滲出屍水血水、散發臭味，研判已死亡起碼2天，即使送驗也難以判定是否因感染狂犬病而死，但為求慎重，仍通報農委會家衛所決定是否送進一步送驗。截至目前為止，南投有8鄉鎮、10例鼬獾確診狂犬病。
