黑莓改造大計 楓信2.5億美元買債相挺

黑莓公司（Blackberry）最大股東楓信金融控股（Fairfax），將再買進2.5億美元的黑莓可轉換債，對黑莓新執行長程守宗的整頓計畫投下信任票。

黑莓表示，這樁交易預計在本月16日前完成，是雙方之前達成協議的一部分。交易完成後，楓信金融持有的黑莓債券金額將達到5億美元。

楓信金融持有黑莓9.9%的股份，如果該公司把這些債券轉成股票，其他債權人沒有轉換為股票的情況下，楓信金融的持股比重將提高到17.6%。

楓信金融正在資助黑莓推動整頓。楓信金融出資47億美元讓黑莓下市的交易因資金不足破局後，黑莓去年11月發行可轉換債籌資10億美元。

程守宗自去年11月上任後，已更換一批高階主管，並宣布與鴻海簽署協議，把生產和設計工作外包給鴻海，以降低成本。自黑莓去年12月宣布與鴻海合作至今，股價已上漲37%。
