林務局管轄的墾丁國家森林遊樂區，自農委會公告「寵物止步」4 天來，遇到零星遊客準備帶貓犬寵物進入，在工作人員委婉「說抱歉」下，都能配合禁帶寵物入園政策；有遊客建議政府能在園外設寵物寄放處，讓外地遊客能安心遊園。
