世界最大化妝品直銷商雅芳公司再次發布縮減開支計劃,公司計劃裁員650人,主要集中在北美地區,以期2016年縮減4億美元開支。

在業績不佳壓力下,雅芳CEO雪莉-麥考伊從去年開始一直在進行裁員並退出部分市場。此外,公司還在對某些規模較小且業績欠佳市場的業務進行評估,以決定是否重組或關閉這些業務。

雅芳commit給美國監管機構的一份檔案顯示,雅芳計劃裁員650人,主要集中在北美地區。此次裁員及其他成本削減措施將於明年完成,預計將產生至多4500萬美元的稅前費用,其中約3500萬美元將計入2013財年第四季度業績當中。
