環保署查獲彰化縣彰化市、和美鎮交界的10家廠商疑長期排放汙水，造成汙染的農田至少有1800公頃，今天環保署與彰化縣環保局持續到場追查。

環保局局長劉玉平說，環保局要求工廠今天停工，給與工廠7天申訴，至於業者對水源造成汙染，環保局也將追查工廠不法利益。
