跑半馬忘記轉彎　婦人跑完全馬還奪冠

【綜合報導】跑馬拉松的風氣愈來愈興盛，已經逐漸成為世界各大城市民眾最愛的集體運動。加拿大34歲女子斐茲墨利斯(Meredith Fitzmaurice)周日(22日)參加在安大略省的半馬拉松比賽，但她在途中忘記轉彎，誤打誤撞下跑完了全馬拉松的賽事，而且她更以3小時11分48秒奪下女子組的冠軍，成為女子組第一個衝過終點線的選手。

「我參加這次比賽，原本是為了日後美國底特律的全馬作準備，本來打算在1小時28分以內跑完半馬，但我一直注意手錶，心中覺得奇怪，終點在哪裡啊？」當她發現自己跑錯路了，斐茲墨利斯馬上和在一旁伴跑的工作人員反映，「結果那個人告訴我沒關係，我可以跑全馬時，我的腎上腺素就開始狂飆了」。
