【大紀元2013年11月10日訊】（大紀元記者古琴澳洲悉尼編譯報導）西澳警方上週在省內西南部Leschenault河口發現2個含高危炸藥的包裝物，11月9日逮捕了涉嫌此案的33歲男子本•羅伯茲（Ben Roberts）。

本•羅伯茲（Ben Roberts）是在位於珀斯南區的家中被捕，他現面臨製造或私藏爆炸物的5項指控。所發現的爆炸物內含有類似於倫敦恐怖襲擊（London Bombings）所用高爆高危炸藥，警方被迫將其在珀斯的格洛斯特公園（Gloucester Park）引爆，澳洲軍方隨後在河口附近引爆了第二包爆炸物。

9日在卡佩爾（Capel）附近的薄荷叢海灘（Pepermint Grove Beach）的一個廢棄大篷車公園又發現了第三個可疑包裝物，警方尚未查清其中的物品，也未做引爆處理 。

羅伯茲目前在押候審，他將於11月11日在班伯裡（Bunbury）地方裁審法庭受審。
