南韓計劃提高半導體製造設備的自產率

南韓政府23日宣布，計劃透過在國內增產晶片製造設備，來扶植該國的晶片製造業。

韓聯社報導，南韓雖然是全球生產記憶晶片的領先國家之一，但國內呼籲強化設計相關服務、半導體相關零件和製造設備方面技術基礎的聲音卻一直沒有停過。

南韓貿易、工業及能源部指出，自1990年代以來，南韓半導體設備在國內生產的比率一直停滯在20%左右，未見進一步成長。

該部表示，將致力於推動在國內開發行動中央處理器（CPU ）核心，這是智慧手機應用程式的重要運算零件。

官方數據顯示，南韓目前供應全球近一半的記憶晶片，但在整體半導體市場的占有率仍維持在14至15%左右。
