《美國經濟》能源價格上漲 8月PPI增幅高於預期

美國勞工部9月13日公佈，經季節調整後，2013年8月份生產者物價指數（PPI）較前月上漲0.3%，因食品與能源價格雙雙上揚，其中有三分之二的增幅是受到能源價格上漲的影響。未經季節調整，美國8月份PPI年增1.4%，為今年4月以來的最小增幅；核心PPI年增1.1%，則是創2010年6月以來的最小增幅。

數據顯示，美國8月食品價格指數月增0.6%，能源價格指數月增0.8%；扣除食品與能源的核心PPI則是持平；半成品價格較前月持平，原材料價格則月減2.7%。經濟學家原先預期8月PPI將月增0.2%，核心PPI預期月增0.1%。

勞工部表示，8月能源價格指數上漲主要是受到汽油價格指數上漲2.6%的影響，此外，液化石油氣以及家庭用電也有上揚。食品價格指數則主要受到新鮮與乾燥蔬菜價格大漲26.9%的影響。核心PPI在連續9個月上揚之後轉為持平，其中汽車價格的下跌抵消了寵物食品與非木材商用傢俱價格上漲的影響。

PPI是每個月公佈的三項通膨指標之一，勞工部12日公布的8月份進口物價指數較前月持平，因燃料價格的上漲被非燃料價格的下跌所抵消。根據彭博社的調查，經濟學家預期17日將公佈的8月份消費者物價指數將月增0.2%。
