台學產基金助迷途羔羊 女拳擊手展頭角

【大紀元2013年09月13日訊】（大紀元記者江禹嬋台灣台北報導）屏東縣里港國中的拳擊選手楊佩蓉，曾課後流連網咖，隨校外大哥圍事。教育部學產基金支持下，開始加入校內拳擊隊，在屏東縣縣運拳擊國女組第二名。補助經費用於聘請教練、比賽經費、拳擊手套等。

楊佩蓉因在練習中找到成就感，終於迷途知返，並獲得縣運會第二名。學產基金的補助讓她得以聘請教練、購買昂貴的拳擊手套，繼續往夢想邁進。

教育部學產基金從清朝時期地方教育人士獻田興學而來，自99年（2010）起辦理迄今先後幫助許多弱勢學生就學，弱勢學生受益人數近1萬5千人。

其中，台北醫學大學學生王子嘉幼時罹患青光眼、白內障，因學產基金補助培訓特殊專長，獲得半年、新台幣5萬元的補助，得以聘請一對一指導教練，在全台競賽中屢獲佳績，並考取拉丁舞教練證照。◇
