民進黨前主席蔡英文上午和小英教育基金會執行長林全一同舉行記者會，說明此次訪中之行的心得和想法。對於敏感的兩岸稱謂問題，有別於民進黨中央及中央級民代常使用的「中國」，也不使用一般人所使用的「中國大陸」，蔡英文全場都使用「對岸」這個詞，看得出她對此行所獲得的成果及保持未來持續推動的可能性，而採取一個較為中性的用詞。
