我贈山東威海長鬃山羊 喜羊羊猝死

北市動物園前年致贈中國山東威海劉公島國家森林公園一對國寶級的長鬃山羊「喜羊羊」、「樂羊羊」，未料今傳出公山羊「喜羊羊」突然心肺衰竭猝死；動物園表示，已打算日後再致贈一對長鬃山羊，讓牠們能夠繼續繁衍後代。

民國97年海基、海協兩會中舉辦「互贈珍稀動植物記者會」，台灣宣布要回贈各一對的長鬃山羊與梅花鹿作為收到大貓熊的回禮，並在隔年確定落腳在山東省威海市的劉公島國家森林公園。

根據新華社報導，山東威海劉公島森林公園宣布，在11月29日保育員發現「喜羊羊」已倒地死亡，園方隨即對「喜羊羊」死亡現場進行拍照、錄影，並留存飼料、糞便及監控錄影帶資料，北市動物園的相關人員也立即飛往山東共同鑑定。
